FAQ's
What size are the VetRef Cards?
The cards are typical business card size, so approximately 55mm x 90mm.
What material are VetRef Cards made out of?
The "small animal" cards are made from 420gsm cardstock. As there are 15 "small animal" content cards, this decision was made to keep the cards affordable for anyone.
The "large animal" cards are made from PVC. This is the same material as ID cards such as a drivers licence. These are durable and waterproof for large animal work.
Are the VetRef Cards flimsy?
No, the cards are not flimsy. The cards are of high quality and are very durable. The "small animal" cards can withstand a small amount of fluid and disinfectant wipes.
The "large animal" cards are made from PVC. They can withstand any liquids and can be easily washed and disinfected.
Why are there no holes punched in the "small animal" cards?
I've left this decision for you guys. I toyed with the idea of key rings or boxes for the cards but I want the cards to stand on their own. If you want to add a key ring to keep them together, there is enough room for that to be done. However, I can't comment on the durability of these cards as they are not plastic.
While I would have loved to have made the "small animal" cards PVC, they simply all can't fit on a keyring or lanyard if they were plastic due to thickness. Trust me, I tried.
Is all of the information on the cards accurate?
